After a week of travel (last week) and then being sick and out of it (last week and Monday) I’m on the upswing just in time for this gorgeous weather we have been blessed with in the DC area. I originally had a different post in mind but after reading an article and adding it to my running document, it looks as though I really need to comb through and start sharing what I am reading! First, I’m almost finished with The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. I received it for Christmas, but studying for my CMP took precedence so I finally got around to cracking it open. I know a lot of you have also read this book and I’ve really enjoyed the premise of “consciousness” and have constantly reminded myself when my ego gets in the way. It was even helpful last evening in my first yoga practice of 2016! I had the wonderful opportunity to meet “instafriend,” @themoderationproject. She’s super energetic and so fun. This community is seriously amazing. The Stud and I have also booked a getaway trip and I am so damn excited about it that I can’t help but daydream sometimes! I’m really trying, though, to stay present. Comment below on how you focus on staying present!
On the article front, I’ve come across numerous posts recently that I think you will really enjoy as the focus on balanced living continues to take center stage in my life...and I think with the easy-going warmer weather vibes approaching, wanting to “go-go-go” more can also come into play, you might read something that helps to ground you, or sheds love and light on a new idea that you can implement. I hope you’ll take a moment to click one teaser below that strikes your fancy, or maybe more than one. On that note, do y’all like reading the best of what I’ve read on the internets? Let me know, I’d love to hear from you! email@example.com.
